Welcome !

The HandCraftEdASL© series is a communication system designed for Deaf or Hard of Hearing students who have additional disabilities and limited communication skills.

HandCraftEdASL© serves as a basic reference for expanding the knowledge of Deaf culture and American Sign Language syntax.  It’s meant to be used to bridge the gap between parent and child or educator and child.  The HandCraftEdASL© series includes

1000+ signs, gestures and graphics that are color-coded by their part of speech.   The book’s focus is neither ASL or SEE, but a collection of commonly used signs in the educational field today.

The material contained on this site is for informational purposes only.  The owner does not warrant or guarantee any level of certification, accuracy or fluency in American Sign Language by use of these materials.

The HandCraftEdASL© series can also be useful in the areas of educating students with ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorders), Auditory Processing Disorders, or other Intellectual Disabilities. Ideally, it is meant to be a link between those who use American Sign Language to communicate and the rest of us who are learning to understand what they have to say.
